Perhaps more than anything else, what we believe about forgiveness reveals what we believe about the gospel. Pastor Cameron opens our Forgiveness series by anchoring everything in one truth: forgiven people forgive people. Drawing on 1 John 1, he shows that we will be incapable of truly forgiving others until we have grasped the gravity of God's forgiveness of us, and that we cannot grasp that until we reckon honestly with the depth of our own sin. God is not a reluctant forgiver; forgiveness flows from the very center of who He is.
