In the second week of Advent, Pastor Luke turns to peace, showing that biblical peace is far more than the absence of stress; it is a state of wholeness with God, ourselves, and others. He warns that chasing peace through our circumstances, possessions, and relationships only leaves us anxious and bitter, because real peace is found in Christ alone. From Philippians 4, we learn to cover our lives in prayer and receive the peace of God that guards our hearts as we wait on him.
