In the final week of Advent, Pastor Cameron points us to the source of love itself, reminding us from 1 John that God is love and that everything we know about love we must first learn from him. He shows that God revealed his love most clearly by meeting our deepest need, sending his one and only Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Christmas is the great gift of his generosity and grace, and because he first loved us, we are now freed to lay down our lives in love for one another.
