On the third Sunday of Advent, Pastor Cameron draws a clear line between happiness, which rises and falls with our circumstances, and joy, the indestructible confidence that nothing can separate us from God's purposes for our lives. Echoing Paul's call in Philippians to rejoice in the Lord always, he shows that joy becomes our response when Jesus becomes our focus and our eyes are fixed on what is eternal. It is the very joy the angels announced over Bethlehem: good news of great joy for all people.
