Fasting has all but disappeared from the rhythms of the western church, yet Jesus assumed His followers would do it: "when you fast." In this message, Pastor Luke recovers a theology of fasting as a supplement to prayer, a way of praying with your body that exposes what we truly hunger for and turns our deepest appetite toward Christ Himself. He also speaks tenderly to those for whom food is a complicated or painful subject.
