Pastor Cameron pauses to retrace the ground Paul has covered in Romans so far, drawing the threads of chapters one through four together to a single, hope-filled turn. After showing that no one, religious or not, can stand righteous before God on their own, Paul announces the good news: a righteousness from God, apart from the law, given through faith in Jesus Christ. What was ours, sin and its judgment, became His, and what was His, righteousness, becomes ours through faith.
